Some of our animals arrive at the refuge with a very special story. Chronic illness, disability, the consequences of an accident or simply their age can make finding a family much more difficult. Some may stay with us for many years, perhaps for the rest of their lives.
And that's okay. They have a home here, surrounded by love, attention and everything they need to live the best life possible.
But animals with special needs also require special care: specific diets, veterinary treatments, physiotherapy, medication or mobility aids such as wheelchairs and support harnesses.
By becoming a sponsor, you can help us cover these ongoing costs and support one of these very special animals for the long term.
